Graphic design, also known as communication design, is the art and practice of planning and projecting ideas and experiences with visual and textual content. Depending on the business context and stage of career, designers can find themselves with a number of different job titles. Within many publications, institutions, or agencies, a junior designer will typically rise to a senior designer, then art director, and then creative director.
Guided by our instructors who are noted professionals in their areas of expertise, students will develop sophisticated typographic and image-making skill-sets working across both emerging and traditional media.
